G05 which we worked on two weeks ago, in for shark fin antenna replacement, along with new atm battery. atm took partial hit but its still functioning so it was left in.
To no surprise, atm, shark fin, battery were previously replaced back in Sep 2023. Again bad quality silicone was used and it broke in many places, which led to water ingress, short circuiting of battery, which then started spitting acid onto motherboard of telematic.
