I had this 340d to work on, our partner did adblue delete. Car came back months after, claiming that adblue map killed the car. While we were busy fixing other cars, owner gave us time to work on it, until its resolved. So in spare moments, car was inspected in various areas. Including unplugging of all modules, one by one.
After inspection, number of fuses were blown. Random battery fitted which was drained to maximum. Overall car was unstable and there was no contact with DME, EGS, SCR, GWS, BAT48, PCU48.
Last weekend, we noticed no power flowing from front fuse box to dme. Followed by extensive checks, fuse box was replaced as its was blown (150a). Also cable which transfers power from front left to front right fuse box was touching turbo and was shorting entire car.
New relay, new wiring, new battery were fitted. Battery obviously coded to car.
Last stage was to rebuild all plastics, plug back all modules back. Rebuild butchery in boot and hand car back to owner.
